Challenge

Each year, Neste, a renewable fuel producer, traditionally holds a summer game as a promotional campaign to boost fuel sales. However, with a strategic shift towards focusing on sustainability goals, the summer campaign needed to align with these objectives while still driving sales.

Solution

A solution was sought that would create a meaningful impact beyond merely promoting Neste products with a sustainability message. To maximize impact and ensure sustainable campaign implementation, a unified approach was proposed for the three Baltic countries. The Baltic Sea, which connects these nations, is one of the most polluted seas globally. Therefore, Neste committed to cleaning the sea and invited its consumers to participate in this initiative. 10 cents from every purchase is allocated to the Baltic Sea cleanup effort. This project achieved significant success, leading to its continuation for three consecutive years.
